Club

From the ground up

Aurora FC was founded in 2024 by Adedapo Adebowale, a Nigerian-American with a vision to establish a football club that operated with genuine ambition in Houston, Texas. The idea wasn’t complicated: build a proper club, attract serious players, compete at a high level, and grow.

From its first season, the club operated with a professional ethos — structured training sessions, organized fixtures, a defined squad, and a coaching staff aligned to a playing identity. Young clubs often wait years to establish that. Aurora didn’t wait.

"Quality without results is pointless. Results without quality is boring."

What Aurora FC stands for

Competitive Standards

Aurora FC expects every player and staff member to perform at the highest standard available to them. That applies in training as much as in matches. We don't have an on/off switch for professionalism.

Player Development

From youth players in Lagos to senior squad members in Houston, Aurora FC treats development as its core function. We don't just train players to perform for us now — we build players who improve over time.

Community Accountability

Aurora FC is embedded in Houston's community. The club's presence in the city carries responsibility: to be visible in the neighborhoods that support us, and to behave in a way that makes the community proud to have us.
