Aurora FC are proud to announce a partnership with the Southwest Houston Youth Centre to deliver a series of free football clinics for children aged 8–14 throughout the summer months.
The clinics, which will run on Saturday mornings from June through August, are open to all children in the local community regardless of ability or prior football experience. No kit, no fees, no barriers.
Why this matters
“We are a football club, but we are also a community organisation,” said Aurora FC president Marcus Durojaiye. “The kids in this part of Houston deserve access to quality coaching and a safe, structured environment. That’s what we can offer, and we’re delighted to partner with the Youth Centre to make it happen.”
The Southwest Houston Youth Centre has served the local community for over fifteen years, providing after-school programmes, sports facilities, and mentorship initiatives to thousands of young people.
What the clinics will cover
Each Saturday session runs for 90 minutes and will be led by Aurora FC coaching staff. Sessions will cover technical skills (ball control, passing, shooting), small-sided games, and — crucially — the values Aurora FC stands for: discipline, respect, teamwork, and joy.
How to register your child
Registration is free and open now. Visit the clinic page on the Aurora FC website or contact the Southwest Houston Youth Centre directly. Places are limited to 30 children per session.
The first clinic takes place Saturday, June 7th at 9:00am.
